i know fruits2 is impossible to port :?: :?: and wasn't even mentioned but i have to take back my hate for it now that i've discovered it's actually really fun and i'm sad tf2 doesn't have it

Okay so since there was a thread in general discussions a few days ago about getting more maps created and people saying that all the good maps had been ported already, I thought I would put up a list of maps as suggestions for them to be ported.

Surf_metalwall - Meh. Not a fan of this map
Surf_lepidus - Decent map, but playermodels will make it hell
Surf_masonry | Being worked on by Elfman? - I just don't like Mr. Cow so fuck this map
Surf_seaworld - Too short
Surf_kalium - This map looks REALLY convoluted so.. Dunno if I would actually like for this to be ported. - Pretty fun
Surf_happyhands4 | Being ported by Skerf - Never played
Surf_primero | Being ported by Butler - It's okay
Surf_exile - I'm 2 shit, but do it anyway
Surf_illumination | Being ported by Butler
Surf_exocube_h - Only stage worth adding is s5
Surf_loves_spliff - Go ahead
Surf_quilavar - NOOOOOOPE
Surf_flyin_fortress - If the god awful lag is fixed, its pretty good.
Surf_plethora_fix - nononononono
Surf_dionysus - Looks.. kinda fun? | Being ported by Butler and Malt - NONONONONONONONO
Surf_wavelength - What's this?
Surf_drought - What's this?
Surf_horizon - What's this?
Surf_telestar - yes
Surf_tronia - Have fun porting that, and good fucking luck.
Surf_ghostbusters - God no. This map was literally made to be as bad as possible.

I have delusional mostly finished...completely forgot about it. My bad.


As for timewarp, I think malt said he was gonna port it. I tried it once, couldn't get anywhere with it. I may take another look at it.

Dude, I reaaaally wish I knew how to port maps...I have so much free time on my hands to help out with it. Its just that Hammer looks like a super complicated program that'll take a long time to learn how to use, and I don't even know where to begin learning how to use it. I know there are guides on the forums, but not on how to start with hammer. I could probably look up a guide on that but it might be too difficult to learn.

It's not so difficult imo and there are many tutorials on youtube (tophattwaffle have the best ones).
Also porting is easier than making a map from nothing since you don't have to het ideas but you must
have css textures or it will be too complicated.
